med day!!!

ok ok i take back what i said about med soc.they had this event called med day and basically its a day collecting charity for the hospitals, health aid organisations etc. so i join in wif aisyah catching the early bus at 7am to go to dublin city center and collect money donations around st stephens green park [ngantuk gila becuz i had to accept a delivery of halal meat at 2am that morning hmph!!]

so i went and put on my cute face on asking people around for donations in conjunction with the breast cancer awareness month [note to aisyah:its not breast awareness month!! haha!!] it was a rainy morning and i walked along the pedestrian area carrying my cute white bucket without an umbrella, raincoat and gloves. dahle sejuk gila tangan sampai rasa cam kebas pegang the white bucket. there i was walking and asking for donations from him, her and them. but anyway, i managed to collect more or less 20 euros that morning and it was my first time doing that thing!! yippeee!!! plus i get to bring back the med day t shirt i wore during the collection. yeay!!



surprisingly the people here really do want to donate. well ada jugak yg buat muka buat malas nak layan me mintak donations but i think anywhere in the world ada je org mcm tu. but yang terharunya is that there were a few people were chasing me around just to give their donations!! and it was in the morning. slalunya org cam busy nk pergi kerja ,skola etc. but in all that rush, sempat jugak korek dompet semua nak bagi duit. hahaha, bestnya kalo kat msia ada scenario cam ni.



but there is a scenario that i dont wanna see it happen in msia.the med soc members did a pom pom dance on grafton street. and the dancers were all male in skirts each with 2 big balloons on their breast holding pom poms and dancing their way mengikut rentak lagu 'don cha' by the pussycat dolls.can u guys imagine? i took a scary snapshot here. but they did that for charity.hmm..memalukan diri semata mata nak kutip derma..hmm...



ok i haf to go masak for buka. ramadhan dah nak habis...cepat betul masa berlalu..
