my first dissection!!

yeay dapat lagi computer hari nih! sory people i dah tak YM skrg becuz i reformated my laptop and now YM kena download balik. later la eh?

anyway yesterday i took my first steps into the anatomy world. we're in groups of 8 to 10 [campur dgn org2 irish sini] and each group dpt satu cadaver [cadaver=mayat] so yesterday kitaorg dikehendaki dissect the posterior right upper limb [bhgn belakang sebelah kanan] mula2 masa tgk cadaver mcm wow! a real life person donated his body [in my case the cadaver was once a woman] just so that we can cut it up and learn anatomy the practical way. all in all. mmg bestla. org kate first timers slalu traumatised. but for me, i'm ok. boleh je tido lena last night tapi the smell of the cadaver masa tgh dissect tu mmg menyengitkan. i really cudnt express it here in words. mmg teruk la. but then i had a chance to cut the skin off. [ hehe jaga2 korang! dah tau dah nk buat camana hehe] we had to dissect it carefully [we only had to remove the skin and the lemak2 bwh2 tu and expose the muscles] kalo terpotong muscles nnt tak lawa pulak kan? so thats it for my first dissection of my life! lepas ni ada lagi dissection practicals. now ada kena hafal pulak nama2 muscles tu. huhu wish me luck!!

ps: sorry no pictures of the cadaver. we have to respect the dead..
