just my luck
ok so the title now is the same as lindsay lohan's new movie which i personally think the movie is not worth my ten ringgit i bought for the movie tix [unless ure an avid fan of the actress la..] tapi kalo ada movie that i wud really recommend to u guys is the second pirates of the carribean movie. [orlando bloom looks so much better now in it!] tu mmg worth all ur money. it easily destresses my mind memikirkan results coming out the next day hehe.. so tgkla sape yg belum tgk tu!back to the title 'just my luck'.people say that the few weeks prior starting a new book kat negara org mmg kelam kabut. but so far to me okla. mcm dis morning i went to the immigration office nk renew passport [mine expires dis sunday.. hehe] i thot dat like any other government services, the queue must be long. so i brought my harry potter book i borrowed from a library. the 2nd one. [heh, i'm revising all the books skrg ni before the last book is coming out. baru habis the first book] i got there around 0730.not surprisingly ada ramai org.grabbed my number and waited.about 15 minutes later, my number was called and i settled my passport by 0900! plus i only paid rm150 for it! [student price hehe. normal price rm300!] so it was fast and dpt diskaun some more! [no wonder i love the megasale goin on now!] praises for immigration department!!
so i guess i'm lucky to not have to wait in line for a whole day. plus lucky to found 2 harry potter books in a library!
yesterday, i went dis predeparture briefing by kelab umno ireland. okla, i'm not being political or anything, i juz needed information and wanted to meet the seniors there.it was very enlightening.ramai betul people in the same boat as me [not a surprise to me la] but the big surprise was meeting a few exsspians there. tak tau la pulak they were goin to be there. so there was a little school reunion there oso. =) gempak gak the event. menteri pengajian tinggi dtg bg speech sume. msk news lagi! dun think everyone reading this entry sees the news. haha am i right? tapi muka yg comel ni terlalu low profile la utk msk tv skali hehe!
so i guess i'm lucky to hav a lot of contacts now in dublin
a few days ago, i went for a medical check up [besela kan?] i did my normal check up, a blood test, a urine test, x ray and eye vision test all in one day. got all the results on the same day oso! [normally blood and urine samples kena anta pi lab and wait a few days before u can get the results] alhamdulilah, my body is functioning well, tp blood pressure a bit low. note to self: kena exercise byk lagi. buat cardio exercise. i'm supposed to go for hep B vaccinations tapi seniors say dat u can get it for free kat UCD nnt! good thing x buat lagi cuz kat sini kena bayar. sana tak payah =)
so i guess i'm lucky to be me!!
