waa.. it has been a while since my last entry.. been busy busy busy! smpi tak dapt join glace main futsal!! uwaa.. rugi rugi rugi. but i am not regretting it. maybe ada hikmahnya i spent more time wif family. orait. coming clean rite now. i had other commitments last night [dats why i didnt join glaces futsal championships heheh..] i had to be one seventh of the usherette team in my cousin punye wedding reception kat glenmarie holiday inn shah alam. first time dpt tugas i was wondering what the heck is an usherette anyway? teringt the singer usher pulak [wonder what happen to him? cam takde gossip or anything hahah!]what i did as an usherette is nothing new. but the preparations for an usherette is smth i neva thought about. i had to:
>>> wear a pink baju kurung with laces all over. pink is not the colour of my wardrobe, soh rase mcm pelik sikit. oso i was the only usherette wearing tudung!! soh mmg jd center of attention la masa mengiringi the bride and groom coz the bride oso wasnt wearing tudung. heheh =)
>>> experience my first encounter with a makeup artist!! since i was the only one donning the veil on my head, the makeup artist gave me deep makeover so that wont look pale. my lipstick was like florescent pink and some silver eyeshadow!! the artist complimented my skin saying that it was the most beautiful among my fellow usherettes!! alamak kembang hidung sekjap masa die applied the foundation haha! didnt noe that it was actually tough applying makeup sbb asyik kena dongak atas je. sakit tengkuk. si tukang mekap pn ceritela yg dier penah makeup adam af2 and model Natasha Hudson [heheh tak taule betul ke tak but his makeup wasnt overdone in the end] my aunts sume kate i look five years older. hmm guess i am still potraying an immature kid. well what to do? in the end everybody wants to look younger right?
>>> walk in high heels. yeah, mmg kekok sikit jln in heels since i always go for my sandals or my momoe shoes. but alhamdulilah takde jatuh tgh jln2 tu =)
the reception ended in midnight and it was very entertaining although the speeches were X-rated a bit heheh. [mmg la my cousins tuh!] i oso learned a thing or two about wedding receptions.it is hard work!! so later hav to find a someone who is really worth all the trouble (^_~)V
